HeatherWiki is a collection of mods, help pages, and a system of organization for using MediaWiki in the create of game design documents. Game design docs are large manuals that contain all the design information about your game. It contains everything about your game and can be consulted by your entire team throughout the design and development processes. Ideally, it should be so complete that your designers could all be hit by a meteor and your game would still go on without them (after a period of mourning since a big chunk of your team was just killed!) MediaWiki is a wiki interface that can store your design document. It has many features that make it superior to a printed manual, google doc, word doc, several word docs, notes written on napkins, etc. HeatherWiki expands and takes advantage of those features to create a cohesive system of organization. It sets standards for how to organize your document have complete control over it. Your team can navigate through your design document through a web interface. It can be altered, reorganized, and rebuilt on command.
